Yes, very tragic - but it does happen - here in SA a couple lost control of their bakkie at a robot, 'smashing' into an electricity substation, only to be attacked by a swarm of bees who made their 'home' in the substation! Being highly allergic to bee sting, I would not want to meet a swarm in my lifetime!

I can't read this story, but just based on the headline, is it any wonder that the Bee's are fighting back against what is causing not only their death and destruction but that of all the Planet??? including ourselves??? The BEES are really trying to save us - stupid humans using pesticides that kill them - science shows that if all the bees are gone, humanity has 4 years left to survive. . FOUR YEARS - cuz there will be no more plants or food to eat, as no pollinators to make news one. . . simple CAUSE AND EFFECT!!!!! EACH OF YOU CHANGE YOUR relationship to Nature and Mother EARTH right now - RESPECT and KNOW what CAUSE AND EFFECT means - your actions matter. . .
THANK YOU BEES for TRYING to save US!!! i am grateful and in awe and hope we all wake up before more of this is necessary. . . .

On Monday we were having high winds across most of Florida from TS Debby. Every form of animal life was acting "tense". You have to use utmost caution under these circumstances! The animals are much more sensitive to vibration and magnetics. Bees would be especially affected. They have "trails" that they follow, the weather would have disrupted the whole system, so they were on edge.
As for the Africanized bee strains, as a whole they seem to be slowly blending in with the honeybee populations. Eventually, I feel the agressiveness will lessen and we will have a hardier bee strain that can manage stress better. At least, thats my view on the big picture. The regular honeybees will always be the most docile. They are wonderful creatures!
So sorry to hear about the lady and her dogs. Heres hoping she heals quickly and her heart mends quickly as well!

noted, tweeted, and shared. I am sure that you all remember the petition about being against modified mosquitos being let loose in Florida. This just proves the dangers of insects being where they are not supposed to be. These bees escaped Africa because of man's mistakes. Now they are almost all over the world, and they kill our honey bees that we need to pollinate our food. They are also dangerous as this articles shows to people and animals. We have to stop messing around with Mother Nature.
