Jesse Deleon of Corpus Christi faces misdemeanor animal cruelty charges after his one-year-old dog died when left tied to a fence on Monday on the 6000 block of Wright Street. There was no shade for the dog to get any relief from the extreme temperatures.

Police say Deleon is facing a misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty.

Deleon says he's learned from his mistake and says he is going to take better care of his other dog, "I am going to make sure he is protected. Keep the dog house, cold water."

NO,NO,NO,I don't buy this bull,this POS needs charged and have his other dog taken off of him.As soon as I can fingdmore info on this...as to who the judge will be and such,I will be making a petition and will post the link here.
