Miller heard three loud gun shots and went outside, to find her dog Papa lying in a pool of his own blood.

No No No !!!!!...Those individuals that are suppose to protect and service us killed a helpless dog on a freakin leash !!! A damn leash ..A woman calls for help and her dog is shot and killed !! Im completely utterly mortified..Due to the amountt of incidents you would think the police departments would realize something....like training in the case of dogs needs to be done. Im deeply sad by this familys lose. Poor angel must have been terrified
Thanks Dianne

Unjustified. If there had been a burglar in the house, a barking dog would have been an asset.
So sorry for Ms. Miller's loss.
Austin retrain your officers.

This is an outrage, my question is this "How many more dogs have to die before they do something about this and train their police better on how to deal with animals in general and dogs in particular" Noted thanks Dianne

There is no excuse whatsoever for the shooting of this dog.
