I'm sorry this dog died. However why did the owner let the dog get in a situation where it could bite someone multiple times?

The owner of Brody cared enough to fight for his release for 2 years.I think ther's more to this story than I read.I don't think Brody should have been killed. There are several ways to prevent a dog from biting.

This is a lose-lose situation. Did the dog have a history of violence? If no, I don't believe it should have been killed. If it really was the owner's fault, why didnt they make the owner pay for special dog training/orientation courses or something?

My God, two years. I would have run amok with these people - they would not be walking this earth any longer and I would no doubt have been in jail.

So tragic for the dog and his guardian who loved him! Of course, the court never thinks about the poor man who is so traumatized because he has to go on in life without his best friend! They should have given Brody another chance. I think with a good dog trainer he would have overcome his protective nature and his anxiety over his owner's welfare. This is why he bit those people- not because he was vicious as this court have others believe! It' s just too bad that we don't see more intelligent decisions come from these judges on these Supreme Courts! It's too bad that Caesar Milan couldn't have testified on Brody's behalf. He could have changed Brody's behavior in a very short time in being a more secure dog and less anxious and then Brody wouldn't have bitten anyone! He was a young dog; he could have easily learned new behaviors. Shame on this Court's cold-heartedness and inhumanity!
