He obviously was never a good pet owner and the dog may have ended up even in a worse situation! Frankly, I don't think he deserved this sweet dog! The dog definitely had more morality than him. I hope through our networking that we will be able to find him a good home this time with some intelligent and truly loving person or family! Bless this beautiful baby. I would be most willing to contribute to a fund to this shelter if it meant that they could keep him longer! I'm sure others would do it too, Dianne. Good news about that apparent save, let's hope it works.
I had a dog, decades ago, "inherited" from a girlfriend, which dog was a national AKC show champion, but coiuld not breed, because he was gay. So what!
Like Kit said, many species display gay behavior, including insects, I have read. Ten % of humans are gay, that's just the way it is; get over it.

Thanks for the wonderful update, Dianne. Even Elton is gay, so what? I rescued a cat who used to be very "playboy" until I had him fixed. After that, he stopped paying attention to any female and just spent his energy (and used his charm, of course) to win over another neutered male cat who did not like other cat. It took him 3 months to win over that male cat and they were good friends until they died. That was very cute :)
