Before this most recent wave of #Occupy protests, and the readily-available social media networks that disseminated images of police violence, there were moves like this from a massive protest in Miami in 2003, where the US spent 8.5 million on 'security'

It's a few hours long, but very well put-together, and entertaining.

The end is especially inspiring for those of us who like to garden and farm.

Thanks for your interest. Pass it on!

thanks for sharing. I don't have time to watch this now, but I"m glad you are sharing it. The GOP has been planning a facists take over for some time now. I"m sure this will just show more of the truth.

"It" is everywhere and in everything. I war with myself to maintain a peaceful heart, it is most difficult.

It's entertaining, enlightening, and interesting. After experiencing this sort of thing, and having many not understand... and now seeing so many responding to the same images from OWS, I thought this might be worth reviving.

Tens of thousands of workers, activists, organizers, families, anarchists, and varied peoples dreaming of a better tomorrow gather to protest the meeting of trade ministers who do not represent the people of their countries, as they carve out a new economic order.

We are now living some of the fallout of those agreements. Take a watch, and see what many tried to do to oppose these new world architects, and what sort of brutal police response they were met with...

Please, sit down and watch. It's well worth an hour plus of your time.

Not disinterested; busy with occupy movement. Do not judge or generalize. Thanks for the history; very useful.

No judgement. Just disappointment.

Sir Walk F. is extremely judgmental and threatens vegans and vegetarians, then, coward that he is and without developed character, blocks us and threatens to "REPORT US" (to whom? We are free to reply to everyone else who messages us, correct?) so that he can have the final word, child that he is. His byline on his page is "I LOATHE ALL VEGANS..." then implies that we are unaware of the slaughters and terror for their lives the animals are forced to endure, that we have no awareness of farms. Let's ban SIR WALK AND REPORT HIM, HAVE HIM REMOVED from CARE2.
