Article says "The tribe has a treaty right to whaling and killed its first whale in 70 years in 1999. "

What is the reason to say okay to kill whales after 70 years? Traditions comes and goes, that is an outdated tradition we have to lat go.

Where can I sound my voice? They live two hrs drive to Seattle, if they are lacking food (or entertainment) it is the responsibility of the governmet, What is the point? Because they like the taste after 70 some plus years?
