So did these penguins make a "conscious" choice to go against the flock or were they born that way. Of course, they are what they are - the way they were born. Maybe the anti-homosexual Ludites should pay attention. It's a good thing these little guys weren't in Saudi Arabia, Iran or a number of other Muslim countries - they'd have been executed!

This article just proved to me what I have beleived all along: that being gay isn't a choice; you are born that way. And it also proves that whether you are a gay 'person' or 'animal', you still want that opportunity for a family as everyone else. And they should be given that chance.

These penguins are not unique. Homosexuality abounds in the animal kingdom and many same sex couples mate for life, express romantic and sexual love as well as adopt other baby animals. There is a very informative and well documented book written on the subject entitled "Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity." by Bruce Bagemihl, Ph.D. for anyone interested in learning more.

Well, the zoo is just silly over this, if it wasn't natural they wouldn't do it!

How do we know the penguins were gay? Just because they are raising eggs? Does Three Men and a Baby feature homosexuals or heterosexuals?

Look, christopher m, homosexuals don't "look" different. I'm a lesbian femme...I get hit on by men all the time. When I say that I'm a lesbian I hear that I don;t "look" like a lesbian...have you seen portia de rossi or francesca gregorini? They're not butch, or ugly, or fat or hairy...they're beautiful, feminine women, who happen to love other women.

cute and stupid that it was raised to the point of animal rights protest. So stealing the eggs of another was ok, just to make sure they were given the rights of fatherhood even thought they could not mate. Before you scream about it, They said they took away the eggs from and inexperienced mother and then gave them to inexperienced "gay" pair. So I guess what your telling me is that straight couple or women's rights in the world are on the back seat to the now lets scream gay couple. Hmm just ab bit of fun and reality in this post this morning as I wake up with my coffee.
