This is rather interesting! To be honest, the only time I eat Sesame seeds is on what Wal-Mart calls "Everything Italian Bread." Yes, it is topped with a variety of seeds over brushed-on melted garlic butter.

I couldn't really understand from the article whether this is GMO or not? It's not entirely clear.
