That is great so many are on board, maybe they will stop killing animals. I noticed someones comment on you tube to this issue, I think it is very valid. To quote,
"Perfect...Germany cares more for the dogs than they do for Romanian citizens. If they would protest for stopping Cyanide mining in Greece and Romania that would count....this is absurd. Please respond to me how will the dogs survive and people for that matter if they drink polluted water ?? If the owner is sick from a dangerous environment filled with chemicals how can he take care of this family ?"

This person makes a relevant point, yes?

Thanks Desanka. Although I live in Germany I can't watch the video:

Leider ist dieses Video, das Musik von EMI beinhaltet, in Deutschland nicht verfügbar, da die GEMA die Verlagsrechte hieran nicht eingeräumt hat.

Unfortunately this video that includes music from EMI is not available in Germany because GEMA has not granted the publishing rights to it.

Thanks to those able to take part in the demonstrations and those who signed petitions.
Regrettably, it is unlikely to do any good, as the Romanians are worse than any wild animals.
We must all have seen the miles of video tape, the thousands of photographs that were taken inside the Romanian Orphanages at the time the then Romanian dictator Nicolai Ceausescu was deposed and met his well deserved fate in front of a firing squad on December 25th 1989. But still those vile institutions exist and the children and babies who survived are still in there as adults. Still sleeping two to a bed, in filthy dormitory type rooms with little food and even less medical attention.
If NOTHING is being done to make life / existence better for these seemingly unwanted human beings, by the Romanian people and their government, what hope and chance is there of anything being done for the stray / unwanted dogs and other animals, no matter how much the people in civilised nations demonstrate and sign petitions.
Nothing will improve for either the humans or the animals until such time that western governments move in and force the Romanians to change their ways, and I can almost guarantee that will NOT happen.

Noted and signed - stunned silence from this end. Kudos and blessings to all who have demonstrated, sent letters, protested - let's hope our voices will be heard! These animals do not deserve to be in this horrendous cruel country.

I'm ashamed of my country, Romania, the country with the most brainwashed citizens. Although Brancusi, Enescu, Ionesco have made me proud to be Romanian, now I can understand why they all left the country and lived and died in France. Thanks Europe
