I already boycott any products made in China and of those corporations sponsoring the Olympics. I also boycott China not only for their cruelty towards animals and people but for other reasons too as well.

in Europe we had a chance to buy European stuff..here in US its more than hard to find american stuff my dear Jim but i do my very best ..keep searching cause there is no way to give my money to these bloody barbarians..

Yeap I have Boycotted these inhumane people for a long time and will continue, for you can cloth yourself without there name on it and other products too. I was at a store and I see a coat that had the dog or cat hair on it I went over and I riped it. I was going to do more but there was a camera right there oooopppssss!!!!. I was in Sears on day this ladt had a new coat and yes they had coats there too with dog and cat hair too. I was dumb founded and angry. I told this woman or asked her if she knew what that was and she said no and I told her and how they do it. I thought she was going to get sick. She looked inside her coat and it said made in China and she said I will not buy anything from them again or my family and I will spread the word. I told her to come here and help. I have told so many people and I will keep on telling them, Japan, Korea, are just as bad. Thanks Daphne noted

Noted and am awaiting registration confirmation. BTW, good for you, Joy. I, too, continue my boycott of the entire Olympics event and products made in China as well as retailers who carry these products. It takes some doing to avoid it, but I am doing my best and to bring others along with me. Thanks for the story, Daphne!

I always said - those who participate in Beijing Olympics will have the blood of Tibetans on their face, but now I will add " those who paticipate and view Baijing Olympics will havw blood of many animals big and small tortured and killed in China for trade and pleasure. I hear ya about not buying china and it being everywhere. Must be my Irish stubbornness, for I decided at Christmas time I was actually making Sydney some pajamas. Yuppers got it all cut out, sadly it's still sitting there:)
You'd think there would be directions in those patterns. They seem to think I know what I'm doing.

It is illegal in the United States to import, export, distribute, transport, manufacture, or sell products containing dog or cat fur in the United States. As of November 9, 2000, the Dog and Cat Protection Act of 2000 calls for the seizure and forfeiture of each item containing dog or cat fur.

The Act provides that any person who violates any provision may be assessed a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 for each separate knowing and intentional violation, $5,000 for each separate gross negligent violation, or $3,000 for each separate negligent violation.

THANKS FOR THE LINK KATHY--IT SHOULD COST THE STORE CAUGHT SELLING DOG/CAT FUR PRODUCTS THEIR STORE LICENSE PLUS THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS IN FINES--MAYBE THEN THEY WOULD DECIDE SELLING FUR ISN'T WORTH THE COST! THANKS DAPHNE!
