The medical insurance companies are "too big to fail."...at least that's what I think is behind all this lousy work on healthcare reform. Aren't there enough examples of successful health programs around the world that we can emulate, even if we take the best practices from several and create a whole new one? Healthcare reform is only as difficult as the health insurance companies and the far right-wing want it to be.
