PLEASE! There is a difference between a picture about cruelty and cruelty itself! Case in point: Goya's DISASTERS OF WAR in which hideous war Spanish Civil War scenes are depicted. In the same way the journalists want photographs of coffins bearing the dead soldiers from the Iraq War to be allowed - as a means of highlighting the death toll. - Art about animal cruelty is the same as writing about animal cruelty.
