The Clarendon County Sheriff's Department is investigating a case of animal cruelty and animal neglect. They are trying to figure out who would leave a horse to die on the side of the road.

noted. This so sad, the poor sweet horse; how he must have suffered at their inhumane hands. I hope they catch the despicable people and jail them, fine them heavily and ban them from ever having animals again.

Terrible, terrible! This is so cruel! How anyone could do this to a living animal is beyond me. I hope the SCUM responsible is found and made to suffer as they did the horse! UNBELIEVABLE!

The more I know about animals, the less I like people. This is heartless, cruel, disgusting and unnecessary. Animal Control would have taken the horse if they couldn't feed it. They could have given the horse away. They could have shot it. Hope they catch them and beat the H*** out of them before they starve them.

It,s so sad how someone can just let a animal get like that. I have 3 horse,s, I love very much and would give than alway, before I would let than go without food. I hope they find the person who did this.

ALL I CAN SAY IS I HOPE THAT WHEN THEY SIT DOWN TO EAT THEY HAVE SUCH INDAGESTION THAT THEY CAN"T EAT... I would put more on but we have a Tornado Warning so I best shut down.. will be back when its done.. :-)
