Sure, the hotelier and real estate magnate Leona Helmsley left $12 million in her will to her dog, Trouble. But that, it turns out, is nothing much compared with what other dogs may receive from the charitable trust of Mrs. Helmsley,

Let's just hope they don't get to greedy and that alot of it actually does go for the dogs. Wouldn't that be a wonderful thing?

Who else could she leave it to?? The dogs were probably her ONLY friends from what I understand about the "queen of mean"

I saw the story on another web site that had a video type news story and the commentator of the story was presenting it in a way that was like how dare she leave all this money to dogs. And I'm thinking, good on her they are the
ones that brought love into her live as they do to so many people and its about time the dogs score in this world. Lets hope that the dogs actually, do get the money.

I guess the ol' girl wasn't as mean as we all thought. Good for her! Why shouldn't she leave her money to animals instead of people. They are far more loving and trustworthy.
I hope the money goes to the dogs, too, Eleni. People are awfully greedy and may just find a loop hole.

Greed is the only reason to challenge the last wishes of the dead! Anyone who cared about this woman in life would never disrupt how she wanted her time and money on earth designated. It may seem strange to leave money to the dogs, but they probably treated her with more love and kindness. While people in her life only saw her as rich and bitchy . . . Shame on them!
