He lives in Finland and risks his life to bring joy to Syrian kids. Meet the toy smuggler of Aleppo. 28 visits in 5 years. Started because his 3-yr old daughter wanted him to take all her toys for the kids (and give her a new Barbie when he came home!)

He has started a Go Fund Me page (copied below, errors & all!)
Fund The Toy Smuggler of Aleppo

I am a Finnish-Syrian 44 years old father of 6, originally from the beautifull city of Aleppo living in Finland since 1989. I believe that it's everyone's right to provide and receive help whenever it's needed. It's also a sign of humanity to care for those who are not so close to us in our everyday living and that's why I signup up here. To reach out to all of you guys with a heart.

My voluntary mission started around 5 years ago when I dedicated my life to help Syrian kids in any way I can. I started by using all my savings to buy and deliver food, medicine, water and of cours thousands of TOYS to displaced Syrian kids. (all that I could carry with me)

I travel personally to Syria / conflict zones where there is still hundreds of thaousants civillians still traped under the ruthless air bombing campaigns to take care of some of them.

I have already visited Syria / Aleppo 27 times in the past 4 years or so. The reason is to make sure our help goes to those in need of it most.

I have upatained the title of the Toy smuggler of Aleppo after all borders of Syria has been closed officially for the past 2 years by now. Since I can't stop this work, I had no other way in going HOME but through special routes...and TOYS where all I had on me (couldn't let anything stop me) in addition to the money I managed to collect and raise from Finland to help buying all necessary food, medice etc inside Syria.

So I pledge to all of you HUMANS out there, all arround the world to help me to help the ones in desperately in need.

This money I am raising will go to building schools inside Syria close to Turkish borders (where it is safe from constant bombing).

From me and on behalf of thousants of kids I have met in the past 4years I say THANK YOU.

Sincerely yours,
Rami Adham
The Toy Smuggler

This story deserves sharing far and wide, and the plight of the Syrian people, and their children deserves compassion, and sharing far and wide. It's disgusting how the power-possessors can bomb indiscriminately and kill when they should be attempting to engage in adult debate. . . something beyond most of them.

Shared the donate page as well:
€11.152 of €20k goal

Darren -
Not only "how the power-possessors can bomb indiscriminately and kill " but also develop their strategies for selling the killing tools ... including "donating" and "training" so the arms and the munitions get used (keeping the market lively) ...

I agree an Earth Angel and may his life be spared so he can continue his good deeds but better still may this war end so he is no longer needed to do this.

I think it's far too easy and it has BECOME far too easy to sit in an office, and pronounce and dictate who gets to live or die, on a whim, based on a desire to control and dominate areas economically and politically, so that a few get to reap the rewards.

Yes, Darren - and they can be in an office thousands of miles away, manipulating an armed drone ... controlling something that kills ...
