Is my government committing "war crimes" along the border of the Gaza Strip? It is a crime, not only against the unarmed protesters. It is also a crime against the State of Israel, against the people of Israel and against the Israeli army.

There are the people I talked to amid the ruins of the town who said they had "never believed in" gas stories - usually put about, they claimed, by the armed Islamist groups. My earnest questions about gas were met with what seemed genuine perplexity

Our leaders have no moral high ground to stand on. Their foreign policy decisions are about oil, defence contracts and geo-strategic interests, not about protecting civilians or fighting just wars.

We object to reported cases of non-peaceful action by some demonstrators, to Leiberman's claims that there are no innocents in Gaza, call on Gazans to exercise rights non-violently and applaud Israeli rights groups calling on IDF to resist illegal orders

Only a system premised on extreme inequality of economic privilege and political power would choose to allow a threat to the very future of humanity to grow unchecked instead of cutting back on fossil fuels

The proposed legislation is an obvious attempt to satirize & draw attention to the unreasonable & dangerous policy proposals concerning women's reproductive freedom coming from the Republican Party. The bill may be satirical but the message sure resonates

Killing of Palestinians is accepted in Israel more lightly than the killing of mosquitoes. An army that pits tanks against civilians and boasts of one hundred snipers waiting for the demonstrators is an army that has lost all restraint.
