On June 15th, Canada's 2009 commercial seal slaughter came to an end. Just over 72,000 harp seals were killed. But we can take some comfort in the knowledge that more than a quarter of a million seals survived the slaughter.

Finally some people are coming to their senses! 72,000 murdered is still too many (a bloodbath)....Such a waste!!!!!
