In Lakeview, Oregon, Mrs. Elsie Mitchell and five neighborhood children are killed while attempting to drag a Japanese balloon out the woods. Unbeknownst to Mitchell and the children, the balloon was armed, and it exploded soon after they began tampering

Very interesting. I heard about this as a proposed military tactic that was to be used by the Japaneese during World War 2 but I never knew that they actually carried it out and people lost their lives. thanks Chrissy for the article..
