A DOUBLE BAY man got more than he bargained for when he took his highly agitated kitten to a veterinary clinic after it had been accidentally locked in a cupboard overnight - only to discover it was high on cocaine and benzodiazepines from a wild weekend

Chrissy, isn't this wild?! I, for the life of me, cannot understand why the cat did not overdose--that it survived the drug interaction and overdose is amazing! Equally incredible: leaving open plates of cocaine in your bathrom cupboard--following it's having been served at a dinner party! I am sorry but I just cannot believe the cat was locked in an airless cupboard overnight, ingesting drugs well over the amount needed to kill a small animal. I think the cat was given the drugs as entertainment for the guests and things got out of hand. The pet owners should not have been permitted to take that cat home.
