Mmmmmm ... who has decided that he has mental health issues ... maybe he's just as sick to death of Bu$h as most of the world is.

I thought we had Freedom of Speech... I don't blame the poor guy in this - he's saying what a lot of us would like to say and perhaps do to bush, his cronies and neo-cons. A number of people are all saying something about bush all the time around the world in not so nice language.

"making threats against an internationally protected person" - this is bush....! hahaha...

I guess the arrest was, for Canada to look good and make examples out of people who speak their mind against GB. Mentally ill.....I doubt it....just frustrated....you bet ya! It's hard to stand by and see the whole of the USA go down the tubes because of a mentally ill president who just wants to wage wars and does not give a hoot about the people of his country.

Since when do criminally insane weasels fall into the category of "internationally protected persons"?! Darren Lovestock's sentiments are shared by millions of people across the globe! Bush should have been impeached a long time ago and brought before the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

It is hard to understand why Bush is still in office. Petitions, letters, protests galore in calling for his impeachment (including those from government officials) and he is still in office wreaking havoc and destruction! I cannot fault the law enforcement in this case, however. This man sent emails, threatening to use a bomb and other means to kill the US president which also meant others might well have been killed. Bombs.....these are the weapons of terrorists who kill many more than their targets and anyone who threatens to do this must be investigated. I will never forget the morning of 9/11 as I watched helplessly as my fellow citizens were murdered by terrorists. Not everyone who threatens to bomb or kill someone will seriously take action but who is willing to allow those threats to go un questioned. Bush is not the one I seek to protect with my statements, rather the innocent ones who may be hurt or killed in the process.
Noted with thanks, Chrissy.

Gail:

With all due respect, that lad's residence was thoroughly checked by the authorities for bombs and not a one was found.
If you compare Lovelock, who only "appears to be mentally ill" to Bush, who IS MENTALLY ILL who did threaten X number of nations around the globe; who actually BOMBED and MURDERED millions of human beings by employing WEAPONS of MASS DESTRUCTION.
Bush also caused intolerable pain and suffereing to MILLIONS MORE from DU POISONING, and from hunger and malnutrition, and from water borne diseases as well!
Inagine the utter and irreparable DESTRUCTION he wrought to two erstwhile sovereign nations by the SCORCHED EARTH POLICY.
And if you add the immense suffereing inflicted upon Haiti and its people, and the fact that he invaded and kidnapped (not ot mention humiliate) their legally elected president, Aristide...
Which one would you consider the real danger, Lovelock who only sent threatening emails, or Bush the drug and alcohol addicted pseudo president, who committed treason, sedition and numerous terroristic acts?
