Yes Chrissy - I was about 3 1/2 years old. I am like those 100 year old people who have lived through so much history. Guess I am getting there too. Some amazing events and some shockingly terrible ones.
Thanks for posting this - we should send this around the world and REMEMBER. Actually a group of my friends are interviewing as many veterans of WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Gulf War and Iraq as they can get. They are doing some video and some just audio. But this is such important history, and I hope that by reading this other people around the world will attempt to do the sme thing with the veterans in their areas. The mother of a woman in our town was an army nurse in WWl and she has published a little book based on her mother's letters and memoirs.

Noted with sadness for all the horrible atrocities committed by humans throughout history against their fellow men/women/children.

Hitler and Mussolini were only the primary spokesmen for the attitude of domination and craving for power that are in the heart of almost everyone. Until the source is cleared, there will always be confusion and hate, wars and class antagonisms: J. Krishnamurti

I've been flitting around this morning, and now, seeing this, feel a stillness. I'm going to burn a candle this.
