Not the worst thing that could happen. You can feed many more people on grain than on meat, with less pollution and less animal abuse! I am already a vegetarian, and, it is a great lifestyle. Would never never go back to meat! Also, without livestock, wildlife would be much less persecuted! I think we should do it right now! Everyone should get ready by switching out meat meals frequently. It is better for you anyway!

We humans need to restrain our numbers and demands on nature. Better to do it now, than be forced later ...

As drought conditions expand across this planet, food shortages will increase. Switching to vegetarianism will not save anyone at this point. A large portion of the human population will almost certainly die off during the course of this century.
