Hurrah, I hope that the activists win & Ringling Bros lose.

Lets hope the activists win this case. It will be a victory for elephants a big step to them not being used and exploited by humans any longer.

I know we will all be awaiting the outcome of this trial. I only pray that it comes out on the side of the elephants and that Ringling Bros finally pays the price for their dark and cruel side.

I find it sad that most people still think that a circus or a zoo is a safe place for wild animals. Children should be taught early on that all animals need to be treated with respect - and caging them - and making them perform for people is NOT respectful.

Visit Elephants dot com to see how a few elephants - who escaped living a wretched life on the road with a circus train, or confined in a too small space at a zoo, are able to live in peace on this earth AGAIN. I often visit the site with hopes of catching the girls on the EleCam strolling along, getting into some kind of badness. It brings me joy when I get to watch them for a moment, or read a story about another great rescue, like Ned, the only boy who's only been there a few months . . .

Please check them out, sign up for their monthly newsletters, and spread the word about them too. You'll see, that it's truly a great sanctuary!

Their site - http://www.elephants.com/ "elephantsanctuarytn" is their YouTube channel - http://www.youtube.com/user/elephantsanctuarytn, where you can view a WONDERFUL video right now about Tarra and Bella. Steve Hartman recently featured their story on his CBS Assignment America, titled "The Animal Odd Couple" and you'll need at least 1 tissue to watch it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFz-FMj-9Ps&feature=related
