When someone charges government complicity with torture in the United States it gets ignored. The Binyam Mohamed case has caused an uproar in the United Kingdom because he claims that British agents colluded with the U.S. government in his torture.

It leaves me incredulous that there are still those who would justify this policy. The excuses are that we gain information, the truth is that we create more terrorist. So far it remains to be proven that even one piece of credible information was gained by treating people in this inhumane way. When you do the same things the "enemy" does then just what is the difference? "there's a war out there, we must do what is necessary..." Then just what is the war about? Standing up for what we believe is right and just or an excuse to cause harm spread more violence.
