Sign Petition: Support The Prevention of Equine Cruelty Act (H.R. 503)

The US Congress' failure to pass legislation banning horse slaughter means American horses are being slaughtered for human consumption abroad. Tens of thousands are shipped to Mexico and Canada annually, where they are killed under barbaric conditions.

How shameful and embarassing! Shipped to Canada, indeed. Since when did Canadians start eating horse meat? Me thinks it's the imports and their indiscriminate palates that consider everything food. I'm so disgusted, I could spit. I hope everyone is boycotting Canadian products.

Thanks, noted. Petition is US only but I will forward. Horses are too noble to be treated in this manner. They are hardworking friends, not food !

I think it's so wrong not allowing people from other continents to sign petitions like this one.
Our fight for the animals is global, and in my opinion, when it comes to standing up for the animals there are no borders.
Thank you Tom.
The campaign will end 1st of may.At this moment there are 156 signs.

Hitler shipped the Jews thousands of miles to concentration camps where psychiatrists tortured their victims before killing them, I really do not see any difference in the way these animals are shipped, tortured (lobotomies) and stripped of their flesh before having their throats cut for a slow painful bloody death.
These people were voted into office. Betrayal after trust. Kick their a***s out! ENOUGH!
