Wildlife enthusiasts were looking forward to lunch when they discovered a hungry polar bear wanted to try their cauliflower soup. He poked his head through the porthole into the kitchen of the ship that had weighed anchor by the Arctic island of Svalbard.

Great photo. But really sad to think that he has to resort to breaking in for food. Shows how bad things have gotten.

They are such beautiful animals. We need to work on Global Warming and save them from extinction.

/they are the symbol of why we should all work hard to get the job done for clean air, water, help our planet, I read some where yesterday that there had been seen a small improvement, God I hope so. But we must do even more now. Pick it up and help carry it proudly, Care 2 we can make a difference, because we are all people that do give a durn, and 2 cents.

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER ?!?!?!?!?!?!
Awesome pictures ... and if the article's statement quoted below is true, there will be no more polar bears left for the next generations to enjoy.
They will have become extinct thanks to our lack of right consciousness...
but hey... we're Care2'ers right!!!!!!!! SO LET'S KEEP ON BEING THERE VOICE!

Stated in the article: "There are around 20,000 polar bears in the wild. However, scientists predict that, if current warming trends continue in the Arctic, two-thirds of the world's polar bears could disappear by 2050."

I certainly hope that the bear did not return hungry. it is sad that bears try so hard to find food and what if those people would hurt him?

Would of loved to be sitting at that table or near that window when Mr.or Mrs. Polar Bear came for a snack, what a beautiful article and photos.

Sad, and Oh SO TRUE, these Polar Bears are under attack from all of Mankind's distruction and neglect and are losing their space, food etc. They can NOT support their young, they are looking for anything to eat! SO SAD... Was watching a special and a polar bear had two cubs one died from lack of food, running from males that will kill young ones, I was going to stop watching this special but hung in there so I was aware!

This article also states that we may NO LONGER HAVE THESE POLAR BEARS IN 2050!!!! Sadly, I would have to say from what I have seen on T.V. and read, I would think it will be before that. Mankind must take a look at all of what he is distroying, and yes guys some our petitions for these animals do make a difference when me just make our one voice heard...we need to help these creatures.

Great Article Tom!!!

Great photos, and this I hear is an on going problem. These wonderful animals are fighting Global warming and having to search for food where ever possible.
Thank you Tom

Beautiful picture but the smart thing to do is not offer food. They're gorgeous but not pets.
