Yellowstone National Park's scientific research on wolves got caught in the crossfire of Montana's inaugural wolf season when hunters killed two collared wolves just north of the park earlier this month. "They (the wolves) got caught off guard."

Noted.
Sadly I am beginning to tolerate the human animal les & less each day. Human who hunt like this deserve to be jailed, and I sincerely hope that karma, univerisal justice finds its way to their doorstep one day.
This just sickens me to my soul.

Most so called humans have no respect for God's creatures, and any living life! It is such a sad place to live in[this world] I hope someday all humanity values life like they should. God, and mother earth will always take care of her children, people should not interfere . Thank-you Tom

Wolves are hunted because we have invaded their habitat and hunting grounds, so they turn to our animals (cows, horses, sheep, etc) for food. We are killing them because of their reactions to the situations we have put them into. Well done, intelligent and compassionate humans. Maybe in the next life YOU will be the hunted.

i would so love to be secretly waiting in the wild.and giving a nasty lil surprise to those ,so called "hunters".kinda like even the odds somewhat .see how great the "hunters" are when they get hunted back!!but then i guess it should be expected from the great ,i can kill somethingjust because i can, bunch of rednecks!! there is no reason for the slaughter that's going on there ! it's made strictly for the murders to bloodlet legally.satisfy there bloodlust,so to speak! thanks Tom.

Are the hands of man really meant to destroy and to kill beauty? Any wolf, collared or not, deserves to live just like any human baby born every second of the day.

Hunters are just people at the lowest state of human development. They kill animals to feel important and alive.

You could not make this stuff up for comedy hour! Ed Bangs says the death of the collared mother and daugter is insignificant. If this guy's name entered the equation then I suppose there is not much hope for wildlife as he is obviously bang by name and bang bang by nature. The frightening part is these people are not part of comedy hour but are destroying nature by their absurd and arrogant posturing! It would also appear tp be part of the unjoined up syndrome of government departments either feuding or simply the left hand not noing what the right hand is doing! The wolf population is unfortunately the victim of the bloodlust of the hunting fraternity compounded by administrative incompetance on a grand scale and anyone thinks that's hyperbole, tough!

"The loss of two collared wolves out of a park population of more than 120 wolves in 12 packs was deemed insignificant by Ed Bangs, wolf recovery coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service"
I CLASSIFY THE US FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE RIGHT ALONG WITH THE USDA AND MANY OTHER GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES. A COMPLETE WASTE OF OUR TAX DOLLARS FOR THE GOOD THEY DO..........WHICH IS NOTHING!

OMG!!!

This is being typed with falling tears...

What is with MAN that they can not or will not live in peace with our special creatures?

They fact that these wolves were collared for a study makes it even more insane.

Sorry can't see to type, noted with extreme sorrow and sadness that this happens and after reading the article...the people say that THEY were shocked that so many wolves were shot? Are they just Nutty or just plain stupid?

Thanks Tom...so sad!

I am damn sick and tired of humans playing God! I can only hope and pray that the same havoc will be wreaked on these stupid ass murdering humans for the death and destruction they bring on the rest of the world. Animals have so much more dignity and love in their hearts than some rotten, killing humans will ever dream of having. God save the animals of the world and protect them from so-called humans. And God forgive those who abuse and mistreat what He has given us. Shame on us!!!!

WT Heck? How could any human do these sick things with any kind of a conscious !! Makes me sick, these wolves are such beautiful animals.
At times, most times, I'd rather be with a wolf than these humans.
tks Tom dear.x

some one targeted these wolves on purpose because god forbid there actually be something good come from the research that shows and proves what a good part of the ecosystem wolves really are. Hunters don't want that proved as facts to used to prove they need to be protected forever.
