Komodo Dragon Disappearing From Natural Habitat

Animals  (tags: animals, protection, endangered, habitat, destruction )

Tom

The dragons, which grow to 10ft long and weigh as much as 26 stone, are found only on Komodo and a handful of islands in central Indonesia. Already endangered, their numbers are dwindling as a result of habitat destruction and hunting of their prey.

Losing any species is bad news for us all. Angrily noted, Tom.

It is heartbreaking that no species is left unspared by those who have little interest in anything else besides money. I cannot understand those people. Sadly noted as usual.
