The ice is melting so fast in Greenland that the giant island is rising noticeably as the weight is lifted. In some spots, the land is rising 1 inch per year.

The most scary part about this problem, if it does not abate, is the with the reduced weight at the poles, the earth's orbit could tip. There goes most living things on earth, thanks to mankind's false belief of having dominion over the earth.

Melting ice, rising land, rising sea levels, pressure releasing on the tectonic plates = volcano activity increase, and the aforementioned possibility of a pole shift...
Folks, we live in interesting times - and that means keep your eyes open, because everything you think you know is likely to be severely tested in the coming decade.

Every where we put our have,we destroy everything we tought, specialy the capitalistic type of people.
the socialist type like chaves ask his people to plant as many new trees as posible, and to be honest, they dont have the need to do this, becouse venezuela does produce more oxigen than what they consume.countrys like aruba, where we dont produce even enough for our own consumption on top of it we want to do drag,we are the environmental hazard our self, also usa,the country to inject the same amount of Co2 as the rest of the world all put together,is it fair?one country to deside the course of the world whether we live or we die?they dont care about stronger huracanes they dont care the level of sea water is gona rise, when the poles and piks are melted, they only care about hte money, now i wanna know when aruba is 2 meters bellow sea level how many of us are still gonna be pro usa.

This has been known for many years, but many greedy Big Interest people and politicians, have done like The Three Wise Monkeys: "See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil". In BP's case, they "$aw no evil", "Heard no evil", $poke no evil". Now the people, are suffering the consequences because of this, due to the fact that our elected protectors have not been "Seeing", "Hearing" nor "Speaking" about the things that are moving mankind to the brink of extinction. All they "see", "hear" and "speak" about is what concerns their bank accounts. Oil spills, ice caps melting and they try to ignore it and In the meantime the clock continues to tick and they make believe they don't hear it! Sad. Very sad indeed!

Man will stop meddling in Mother Nature's affairs when there is nothing left to ruin.

Venezuela is at the moment busy with plans to destroy the Orinoco Belt and teamed up up China in order to do so, also they teamed up with Iran, so I'm waiting to they built a nuke plant or that there's one found.

At this time, all governments look to nuclear powers to ease their energy worries.
Don't let it fool you, oppose against this as we still haven't found ways to rid ours of nuclear waste and,
really people, when do we learn that we need to stop doing things if we can't clean it up?

Build your own solar panel or windmill and become (more) independent yourself.

i expect that even this will be denied and or explained away. the facts though speak loudly. Man is having a devastating effect upon the earth...and we are probably too late to stop it now. Hang in there as it will be a bumpy ride from here on in...volcanoes, earthquakes and tectonic movements like we have never seen before since the Cambrian age, maybe the destruction of the gas pocket round the earth itself or a shift in the gravitation fields (amounts to about the same thing)

David, if you would ask me
I would say humankind, they have serious troubles with riding with the tide and dynamics.
The world was fine and will be fine after we're gone (at least for some time.)

But no human to behold it, such a shame.
