Yet another example of humans doing what they want with no thought for the impact their pollution has on other creatures. Why do these ships need new navigation routes anyway? Noise, oil, waste pollution, etc, will now be gaining territory in the Arctic Ocean to the detriment of all its wildlife.
When will man realize that all living things, including plants, are interdependent to survive. If we continue to destroy habitats and other living entities we'll eventually have deprived ourselves of all Nature's gifts and benefits and will end up extinct ourselves.
