Flying Saucers, little green men, little grey men for that matter, all really silly stuff, right?

JohnMichael...I just had a thought. If UFOs means Unbelievable Federal Officials, then I want to state publicly that they do, in fact, exist and have started an enclave in our nation's capital. As one leaves, another replaces it.

I never thought that I should be discriminated against just because my folks crash landed here! It was out of my frail gray hands. Thanks JM, very interesting. I "think" that I've seen UFOs twice in my life. Extremely unusual events that couldn't be explained. Its left me in wonderment my entire life with no way to prove it. I don't believe we're ready yet.

One day a distant acquaintance and I wandered a long way out from a farmhouse we were both visiting and stopped to lean against a split rail fence alongside the tree lined country lane beside a farmer's empty field. Suddenly something bright and large zoomed in from high up and to the left and then hovered there well off the ground, not one hundred yards from us. It was oval and somewhat double saucer-like in shape. My acquaintance confirmed that she too saw what I was seeing. We were both strangely passive and non reactive. We just watched, as if mesmerised. For me that stance was very uncharacteristic. Just as quickly it zoomed upward at a sharp right angle and took off, disappearing in the other direction.. It was a clear day with a blue cloudless sky. I never did put a name to what we saw that day. Due to the credibility questions I felt this story would have, even back then at that age, I never mentioned it to anyone - until now. That was way back in 1969. Was it an unidentified flying object? Yes. Was it close enough to see in detail? Certainly both what I saw and how I could have seen it at all remain an unsolvable mystery to this day. I was young and very open to good experiences and maybe this is why I just accepted what occurred, without question. Still, I do wonder sometimes. That was some trick of light!

Use reason and sanity. What is the first means of contact? Radio! What is the second? An unmanned probe. What is the third? E.T.

Anyone interested in looking for intelligent life need go no further than the satellite dish on their roof. The parabolic dish makes a good radio telescope. SETI has been around for decades looking for any intelligent life by radio.

What can a sane person do? You can act as a personal debunker. If a person claims to be abducted on a regular basis, the sane person can act as a defender. Think about it. How many people reading this sentence remember the half a million people who dropped in on Roswell, New Mexico ten years ago? Many of the attendees claimed to be abducted on a regular basis. Assuming this is factual, then by logic many UFOs should have appeared to abduct. In fact, none were observed.

We need common sense. I am looking for an abductee I can protect. I am willing to defend with my life any human from attack.

I welcome your comments.

I will tell you this, I have studied many yrs on this topic imparticular....If you think that we (humans) are the only lifeform out here, then you should think again....The Universe is very vast........so many galaxies...different planes, parallel universes....on and on...think people...we are not alone...I don't care what the Government says....they have nothing to do w/my beliefs. I have also seen UFOS at least 5 times in my life...and nothing Earthly about these ships baby....that's for sure, they are way too far advanced and fast to be ours......trust me...Peace to all in the Universe...

Daniel,

You said...

"Many of the attendees claimed to be abducted on a regular basis. Assuming this is factual, then by logic many UFOs should have appeared to abduct. In fact, none were observed."

My suggestion is you read a book called Sight Unseen by Budd Hopkins that goes in to detail about accounts of abductions where invisibility/cloaking technology seems to have been used. It presents evolving scientific concepts, and even concepts from nature that support things that take place with the craft and during the abductions.

Here is a description and the link it comes from...

"In Sight Unseen, Budd Hopkins and coauthor Carol Rainey show how fascinating discoveries in modern science support the plausibility of the UFO phenomenon. Featuring sixteen never-before-published cases, Sight Unseen probes two newly uncovered patterns in alien abduction: cases of UFO "invisibility" and reports of genetically altered alien beings who interact with humans during their routine lives. "

http://www.ufoevidence.org/books/book109.htm

Here is what ask.com has to say on the subject...

"There are reports from sane individuals who state without pause that they have seen UFOs which seem to appear and disappear right in front of them. Some researchers propose that UFOs possess a "cloaking" device, like something right out of Star Trek, which enables them to render themselves visible or invisible at will. This could explain some of the photographs where the UFOs were not seen by human eye, but were visible to the electronic eye."

The US governmet covers every thing up. There was even a publicized UFO crash in the newspapers and after that they said it was something else.

I (and I think many other people) are convenienced most if not all the countries in world, conspire to keep everything about UFO and Aliens under wraps and silent. If we are able to send probes out to other planets and to land on Mars, who's to say what a more advanced civilization can do? They are already here watching us destory our planet and everything on it.

Patsi, you hit the nail on the head, however I think they are observing us, so that we will not destroy the planet, because they are inhabitants here too. This is the planet Earth, full of WATER, AIR, AND ALL of NATURE..Why wouldn't they be here? I don't believe for a moment that they are here to see us destroy it, instead I chose to believe they are here to help us protect ourselves from ourselves........They have been around since the beginning of time....even Ezekiel saw the ships in the sky......remember that...I, too, have read Budd Hopkins books, Sophia, I tend to agree with you wholeheartdly, he rules!......people should read that book huh?....They are here, they were here, and they will remain until we all start coming together.....instead of fighting all the time and destroying nature, waters, etc....Many blessings to all.....I know I believe.....

I saw a documentary on the History channel a while back called something like The Presidents and UFO's. Everyone should see it if it ever airs again. When Ford was President guess who he put in charge of informing him and keeping it secret? George H. W. Bush, Cheney and Rumsfield. Makes you wonder don't it?

Visiting an Alien planet, or having Aliens visit here would be a medical catastrophe for everyone involved. With no evolved immunity to the viruses each other carry, the results of such contact would be a disaster, any "advanced" life form would know this.

They are out there, they just don't want what we have.

I definitelyI believe. I saw something in Georgia years ago. I grew up on Navy bases and it wasn't moving like any aircraft I'd ever seen. It was in the papers the next day. A lot of people had seen it. They blamed it on swamp gas. Swamp gas doesn't hover in place that high in the sky, move back and forth, and take off at that speed. Neither does any of the aircraft I've seen. Besides living on air bases, I've been to countless air shows. Call me looney, everyone else does. LOL
