Why do people torture innocent animals? How could anyone make themselves cause horrific pain and suffering to an innocent being? How do people get so f-ed up and evil? I have always been sensitive to other living beings, going out of my way to avoid disturbing or causing fear to wildlife, such as birds at a feeder. I cannot fathom going out of the way to torture an innocent creature. It is so far beyond my comprehension. Needless, pointless suffering of an innocent cat. I hope the perpetrator is in mental torture, having nightmares, and feels so remorseful that he or she pours acid on him/herself.

the laws on Cruelty to Animals just aren't strong enough. We need to
make the punishments for these horrific crimes much stiffer. Small fines
& brief prison sentences simply aren't enough. Restitution should
include long jail terms, heavy fines, community service & these people
should be outed the way they out sex offenders. People who live near
animal abusers should be notified by law enforcement so they can take
action to protect their pets & their names should be made availabe to the public
on a list that can be accessed on the internet & in other ways as well.
Thanks to the sweet people who have taken Snow under their wing & are
helping to rehabilitate her.Get well soon little Snow.

God send the police get these especes de ### - and that they fall foul of some cat-loving convicts inside - then somehow be brought to see what an inhuman and beyond vile thing they have done!

I hope they get enough money for poor little Snow and a lot more for his fellow cats. Thank God my own rescued animals haven't suffered as greatly as that - oh it makes you cry and cry! I so wish that I could afford to add to the donations - but I still have roof repairs to face.

Drastic measures to weed these evil monsters out of circulation. They should not be allowed to breed either so the evil gene cannot be continued. No one who abuses an animal in this way deserves to live. I may sound like a violent 'fascist' but I am sick of reading about cases where these perverts torture and kill innocent animals for some sadistic reason known only to themselves. I don't understand why the authorities do not make the connection between animal abusers and abusers of vulnerable people. Every day these monsters are getting away with a slap on the wrist.

When I saw the headlines, I debated about reading further...I did read further. It seems to be folks like us that keep trying to keep the scales from tipping all the way (permanently) to the inhumane side. I feel good about that and I hope you all do too. One time I was going onto an ON ramp on the interstate in Missouri and there was a car in front of me. Just as they hit the highway they rolled down their window and thru "something" out of it.I realized it was A KITTEN (4 wks to be exact). I think you all can imagine what horrible deeds went through my head (what I wanted to do to them) as they drove quickly away.I stopped, grabbed the kitten and took him to the vet.After head surgery, he only had one ear but and the rest of him "was fine". I took him home and it took about 6 wks to get him to stay out from behind the refrig. He ended up being the sweetest and most affectionate little kitty you can ever imagine.I thought, with only one ear left on his head,Vincent, was an appropriate name.I am glad there are folks helping Snow. When I read these type of stories,I always have to remember all the animals, my friends and I have helped to give new lives to, throughout the yrs. For every bit of nastiness, that is ever so apparent in in this world of ours, I need to remember the kindness and caring that folks do offer which has helped to alleviate the suffering of so many.

Just signed a petition asking for harsh punishment for a man that burned alive two dogs, now this. Really it's impossible to have some faith left in humanity. I wish I were married with Dexter Morgan (TV Show DEXTER) and that every night he came back home and tell me all these amazing stories of how he tortured and killed this filth that harm and kill animals and the environment. As for the foul, wicked, soulless monsters who did this unspeakably cruel deed to a defenceless little cat: May you never know a single second's worth of peace, for as long as you shall live! To torture an animal, any animal, is about as low as you can sink in this life.

There is no excuse for this, none. Not all abused children become torturers, psychopaths, murderers. We choose what we become; we are not merely victims. Whoever did this vile thing to a little helpless cat deserves to be treated in a like manner. (I was myself an abused child, but I chose to become a decent, moral, caring human being, rather than a murderous monster.)
