The video will move you to tears.

From the article:

"In what has to be one of the saddest and yet the most heartwarming stories I've ever heard, the tale of a dying stray dog who finally received the love and compassion he never knew right before he died has touched me in more ways than one.

"Ol Boy" was found sick, starving, and alone on the streets of Singapore by a rescue group called Save Our Street Dogs. They picked him up off the ground (where he was lying in his own urine) and took him to a veterinarian, who found that he was infested with ticks, covered in sores, in incredible pain, and possibly suffering from cancer.

After having the ticks removed and receiving blood transfusions, the group found out via an animal communicator (someone who specializes in how animals think and feel) that Ol Boy was dying, and that his last wish was to feel the warmth and security of a loving family.

Take a look at this video clip to hear what happened next.

What those men did for that poor dog was one of the gentlest and kindest gestures I've ever witnessed. And as sad as it is that Ol Boy ultimately didn't survive years of living on the streets, knowing that he felt genuinely loved and cared for in his last few hours is somewhat of a comfort.

And the way he was cremated and had his ashes scattered with such dignity and respect was such a moving ending to his tragic life. His story proves even further that no amount of compassion is too small, and it's never too late to show someone they are loved.

What moved you the most about Ol Boy's story?"

Have watched the video, and am now reduced to a broken heart, and a puddle of water here, but also so touched my the compassion shown by those two people who took Ol Boy Home, and giving him the love and compassion, and the home he so must have dearly wanted...He was treated so kindly, and with such respect, and dignity, He must have felt like a King...I can't stop crying, God Bless you Ol Boy...

I really hate to cry, so what was I thinking when I let myself watch this ?! I did so out of respect. But I am grateful I saw the end, I am grateful that this beautiful dog got one moment of love and care and passed away no longer having to endure the horrific suffering he was in. And that fact I am grateful for just ONE MOMENT of this dog's life is gut wrenching. This is the only time I want to believe in reincarnation. May ol' boy either be born again as a happy and sassy pup adopted into a fabulous home or transform into a beatutiful shining star ~ Let is be so !

Sadly noted and watched the video with so many tears falling,it's heartbreaking to think how Ol Boy suffered on the streets and from the first moment i saw the video i wished i could have given him a big hug for all that he went through and then these wonderful caring people took care of him, giving him love and tender moments until he fell asleep,it warms my heart to know that he found love and kindness at the end of his sad life and still the tears fall.It gives me hope to know there are many caring, compassionate, loving people in this world.THANK YOU to all who made Ol Boys last days free of suffering and pain and he fell asleep knowing love!!! It was beautiful to see how he was cared for after his death and that really touched me,such gentle young men.Rest In Peace Ol Boy your suffering is now over and you are now free.My heart goes out to the street dogs and ALL animals who never find love, comfort or kindness.Thank you dear Michelle for this very touching video, you will be loved always dear Ol Boy.Forever in my heart and thoughts.Liz Xx

Reading the comments, I knew that I couldn't watch the video. God Bless all the animals in the world and those that love and care for them. Curses on those that abuse and abandon animals and for letting them breed. You can tell a lot about a person and a country on how they treat their animals.

noted...this was such a beautiful tribute to Ole Boy....God bless him...he is now at Rainbow Bridge playing and running with all the other dogs that are there...my praise and thanks to the guys that gave him a home for the short while...God will give you blessings abundantly my friends....I also had a similar experience with a dog that was in bad shape from an animal shelter...I only had her for 3 days, she was starving and in very bad shape, and on the 3rd day I adopted her she got distemper and I had to have her put down....in her weak moments, she wagged her tail and kissed my hand as if to say thank you for helping me...I will never forget it, and this story reminds me so much of my own experience with my Sadie....now Sadie and Ole Boy are together and enjoying life as dogs should!!!!! Thank you for this sweet story!!!!! Thank you Jesus for the people out there that have a sweet soul for animals that do not have any control of their lives....may we all together make a difference!!!!!
