No Reprieve for Dutch the Dog - Montrose Daily Press: Breaking News: Dutch, Aguilar, Mike Duncan, Daily Press, Animal Control of

A tale of two nightmares in Colorado court: In the defendant's chair sat vet Jeremy Aguilar, who said he is on 100 % disability from PTS fighting for the life of the dog he said is his saving grace. Opposite him sat the woman who wants his dog Dutch dead.

I'd emailed this Judge, saying that Dutch appears to only have been caused to defend himself against the excessive force used on him by the woman, and that any animal has as much right to defend themselves as a person does, if they are being hurt.

No animal should lose their life, for defending themselves.

I can understand how the judge is thinking he would be responsible for this dog down the line, if he did anything like this again! I am sure if he spared Dutch's life, his owners would be so careful, it could not ever happen again!

Don't just hope and pray. Send a short e-mail to Honorable Judge Brown, with a plea for Dutch's life and a link to the 'Save Dutch the Service dog' Petition. Be polite, please.

Here is link to a petition:

... and here is Judge Brown's e-mail address:

++ Don't forget to share this widely! Thank you.

I've signed the petitions and sent the email..
I guess for now the best we can hope for is the appeal process, hopefully in which testing of Dutch that will satisfy and sway the judges opinion.
And "that woman" has been outed by name on one of the Dutch fb pages, though anyone trying to contact her at the present time in my opinion will only be hurting Dutch's case, presuming he still has one.. thanks Michelle

as i've said all along, PROVE what you're saying! where are the photos of the blood all through the house and of the apparent damaged furniture from a psychotic dog that "reportedly attacked furniture" and ''rammed" the door. where is this other dog? because i can tell you know, that dog would be either barely alive or DEAD if that's what this dog did to this stupid woman. sorry, but it's a load of f***!ng $h!te! and more fool america for allowing this to continue and for all the things proving Dutch to be fine, to me made a MOCKERY out of

I would like to see proof that Dutch and NOT the pitt bull did the biting. Has the PITT ever been tested for aggression? Dogs are easier to rehabilitate than humans. Just because he did one wrong thing doesn't mean he will do it again. The owners are being responsible and doing a LOT of training. I would like to see the court appoint a trainer to do an aggression test. This would insure you get an unbiased report.
