In two vague bills introduced both in the House and Senate of the US Congress, a vast reorganization of America's agriculture system aimed at tracking and regulating foods for public safety could endanger organic farms and gardens.

Well, the supermarket lobbyists and food processing plants obviously have hired canvassers; they were in our Farmers Market, here in NYC, today and said they'd be there tomorrow, too. They're interviewing and videotaping statements from Farmers Market vendors and customers.

Now, they don't want us to grow our own "organic" food!!! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS ... how did they slip this one by us?

Spread the word.

This bill has already passed the House and Senate and is sitting on President Obama's desk awaiting his signature.

You can write to the President and give him your feelings about this "food safety bill" that they're trying to slip by us ... tell him not to sign it ... tell him to send it back to those crook$ and liar$ in Congre$$ and demand food inspections and organic foods rather than all those antibiotics, hormones and additives they're giving us now.

Gifts & Items Sent to the White House

Items sent to the White House are often significantly delayed and can be irreparably harmed during the security screening process. Therefore, please do not send items of personal importance, such as family photographs, because items may not be returned.

For security reasons, please do not send consumable gifts -- such as food, flowers, and other perishable items -- to the White House. While President Obama, the First Lady, Vice President Biden, and Dr. Biden appreciate your thoughtfulness, they request that instead you look to your local community for opportunities to assist your neighbors in need.
