Saudi Arabia's public school textbooks contain messages of hate and intolerance. "The apes are Jews, the people of the Sabbath; while the swine are Christians, the infidels of the communion of Jesus."

Where are all those pictures of Bu$h holding hands with the Princes of Saudi Arabia and all those pix of Condi sitting in those gold-rubbed cushioned chairs; and, oh yes, Karen Hughe$ ... where are all the photo$ of Karen Hughe$ hobnobbing with the $audi$ and improving things for all women and childrne ...

I guess I must be listed among the intolerant, as I find this propaganda to be abuse of the mind of a child. And unfortunately indicative of the minds that wrote this, brainwashed from a very young age and therefore completely and unwavering believers. And we wonder the whys and hows of suicide bombers. When this sort of hate is nurtured from a very young age what else is this person expected to believe?

Yes, Kit, they really are taught to hate from early childhood, that is why there is so much hate in that part of the world. We just HAVE TO STOP using OIL so those people will have something else to think about, instead hating and killing. They might actually have to grow food and get jobs to care for their families, instead of using the money they squeeze out of us for oil to generate terror organizations, and spread the hate around.

The Hudson Institute, a member of a closely knit group of neoconservative policy institutes that frequently champion aggressive and Israel-centric U.S. foreign policies, was founded in 1961 by several hardline Cold Warriors including Herman Kahn, a nuclear strategist famous for his efforts to develop "winnable" nuclear war strategies.Scholars and Leadership. Hudson's list of current and former scholars and associates reveals a clear partisan tendency. Several Hudson associates have supported the work of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), the advocacy outfit that played a singular role in pushing for the invasion of Iraq in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

While it appears to adhere to an equal-opportunity approach in addressing America's many alleged enemies, a significant portion of its white papers and publications have been heavily focused on Islam and the Muslim world.

One of Hudson's founders, Kahn, was one of the more infamous products of the RAND Corporation, where, beginning in 1947, he developed nuclear strategies that downplayed the impact of a thermonuclear war and was supposedly the inspiration for the character of Dr. Strangelove. In a discussion of Kahn's ideas in the New Yorker, Louis Menand quoted Kahn's 1960 book, On Thermonuclear War: "Despite a widespread belief to the contrary, objective studies indicate that even though the amount of human tragedy would be greatly increased in the postwar [i.e. nuclear] world, the increase would not preclude normal and happy lives for the majority of survivors and their descendants."

Stopping the use of oil is only part of the issue. This hate goes deep within the culture. If a country hates another so much, we should do all that we can to stay away, however, the issue of human rights will always remain bringing in our country to help ..... All peoples must want peace, and then we can work toward that goal. While hate has existed for how long? and we still cannot make peace happen. Perhaps when their oil runs out, and sooner or later it will, what will they do next?

It must also be understood that Saudi Arabia holds within its territory the true area known as Mt Sinai. Some of the fraudulent claims regarding "Mt Sinai" on the Sinai peninsula have been promulgated by so called christianity.
The evidence of the real Mt Sinai proves the accuracy of the Bible where it talks about Mt Sinai in Arabia. The locals in the area refer to the real Mt Sinai as the mountain of Moses.
Reputable maps of the area refer to this mountain as "Jebel el laws" You will find it on most maritime maps dating back during the second world war.

There is a high fence around the area with signs saying KEEP OUT. There is the altar of the Golden calf with petroglyphs of Egyptian cows. If you stand outside the fence and have a telescopic lens on your camera, you can take photos of this.

The top of the mountain itself is black as if burned by the presence of God. There are the remains of many artifacts there. Since this would all give legitimacy to Biblical fact and proof, if you were afraid of this, would you not do everything you could to make sure infiltrators were kept out from seeing this evidence? Would you not be promulgating these nefarious hate beliefs to protect your butt?

THAT is why it is so horrendous. We folks in the so called free world tend to just take things for granted, to them over there, their very foundational beliefs are at stake and they will do anything they can to protect their beliefs, just like so called christianity did through the Dark Ages. Dark Ages because of the suppression of truth. It happened before and it will happen again and indeed IS happening right now.

The CIA is the right hand power which protects this religion's butt. You and I will be subjected to their venom as can be seen with their destroying those tapes of waterboarding. It seems that most folks are totally unaware of the purpose of this group. We supposedly think they are there for the protection of America. You've got to be joking. Oh well, I guess they will be calling at my door soon, probably about 4 am one morning. They already know where each of us lives, what we believe and whether we are in fact a challenge to their designs. On top of that, IF perchance you are a Sabbath Keeper, you will be on the list.

The new Pope is agitating for sunday laws in the EU and is declaring that there can be NO peace until everyone is brought into line with worshipping on sunday. For those of you who who do not hold to any worship regime, well, you are dispensable anyway. You think the Saudis are bad, wait till you see the Ire of the "christians". You will wonder just what hit you, well, for a little while until you are removed.

Thanks for showing the true face of Wahhabism Lindsey. The sooner we can free ourself from dependence on Saudi oil the better.
I look forward to the day when we can tell them to go drink the stuff!!

You know that old saying about sticks and stones, well I wouldn't worry too much about these Arabs, their days are numbered. Who are they friends with? They hate the Jews, now its the Christians, its always been Hindus and Muslims hating each other. Might I take a stab at thinking that maybe, just maybe they are friends with old slit-eyes? !!!!!!

Ok, first of all the majority of our oil DOES NOT COME FROM SAUDI.

Secondly, of course they're going to nickname the Christians/Jews wrongly! I'm NOT saying it's right because, Lindsey, on this one you're very, very, very right! But the Christians and Jews also do it to the Muslims and you can't say you don't. They automatically nickname all who wear a scarf "towelhead" and firstly, "terrorist." This is something that's not going to change so you're fighting a dead cause.

I've seen many-a-friend go to "church camp" and come back brain-washed. Religion is nothing but opinion and every parent makes their child's opinions from the beginning of birth -- just by taking your kid to church each Sunday you're influencing them! There's nothing different here~

Saudi is one of our biggest allies and we're not going to "dump" them anytime soon. Didn't you see how good of friends Bu$h was with them?! He KISSED their cheeks! And, another thing, the ones who are terrorists are NOT muslims because muslims believe that "peace is life" they tolerate all Jews and Christians just as much as we do them. And for some it's not a lot, on BOTH sides.

Anyone who doesn't tolerate others is wrong, it's not just the Muslims you need to be talking about if you're going this way. Christians do it here in the "Bible Belt" all the time by mixing church with state. They don't get in trouble for it yet we learn that Jesus is the way to go and anything else you're burning in hell for . . . How is that right either?

I'm in complete agreement with you here, Shadia. It is fundamentalism itself that is the enemy.

However, one major difference is that here in the U.S. our schoolbooks do not teach that kind of hatred and racism to our children. The quotes here are coming directly from Saudi schoolbooks. Because there, as in many countries, this is an accepted and formalized part of their society.

I know. I wish it wasn't. They really do enforce that kind of hate and it angers me . . . Though, I can't really blame them as it's how their fathers and forefathers were brought up and it's so instilled in them that they're not going to change~

The entire "blame the Arabs" mentality is absurd. The U.S.A. sells arms and gives military aid to the corrupt, brutal, authoritarian, fundamentalist Saudi Arabian regime, which uses its armed forces to keep in power (and of course this enables the regime to control its other institutions, such as religion, media and education - which indoctrinate the people, and also reinforce submission to the regime). The situation in most Middle Eastern countries (e.g. Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait) is similar - most of them are corrupt, brutal and authoritarian regimes which are supported by the U.S. government.

So U.S. citizens, before you blame Saudi Arabia (and other Arab nations), take a look at what you are doing!

It is true that buying their oil does bolster those regimes. But without military aid, U.S. arms sales and other U.S. support, the people would overthrow many of those regimes.

A couple more points:

That very support for corrupt, brutal, authoritarian regimes by the U.S.A. is one of the reasons that people around the world are angry at the U.S.A., and do demonstrations, terrorism, and simple guerrilla warfare (e.g. in Iraq and Afghanistan) against the U.S.A.! So if you want to stop them fighting back against you, then stop supporting the tyrants who oppress them!!!

Also, the U.S.A. gives massive support to the colonial apartheid state of modern Israel, including $3-4 billion military aid each year for many years now. That has enabled Israel to expel the Indigenous people of Palestine (and now Israel uses military force to deny the millions of Palestinians who have fled as refugees since 1948, the right to return to Israel/Palestine).

And Israel now dominates the Middle East, with nuclear weapons, with the most powerful military of any country in the Middle East, the fifth most powerful military in the world, and a more powerful airforce and armored force than any European NATO power.

The modern nation of Israel has continually expanded since its foundation in 1948. It currently controls part of Syria (the Golan Heights), part of southern Lebanon, and all of historic Palestine. Israel took 78% of historic Palestine before 1967 - leaving the Indigenous people of Palestine (who were morenumrous than the Israelis) with only the worst 22% of the land.

Since the 1967 war until today, Israel has also controlled that 22% as well. Millions of Palestinian people live there (although many Palestinians are living as refugees in other countries, too). But none of those Palestinians in that 22% of the land controlled by Israel are allowed to vote in Israel's elections. On top of that, Israel has levelled numerous Palestinian towns and allowed 500,000 citizens of Israel to settle there, inside that occupied land of Palestine. It is a form of apartheid - and the world regularly condemns it at the U.N. - but Israel has the protection of the U.S. superpower, and the U.S. vetoes the U.N. security council resolutions to stop Israeli crimes, so the world does very little to stop those crimes.

Anyway, my point is that the people of the Middle East are understandably angry at the colonial apartheid state of Israel, and angry at the USA for supporting it. So U.S. citizens, before you accuse the Arabs, please take a look at what you are doing to them.

Then there is Iraq and Afghanistan, and the threats against Iran. The people of the Middle East, Arabs, Persians... and Muslim people of the world, and all other people who know what the USA is doing are all understandably angry at the USA. If you want to stop anti-U.S. terrorism, one of the most effective things you can do is to stop killing them, and to stop supporting the tyrants who oppress them.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to blame it on the U.S.
