Hi Brenda,

I have personaly saved horses bound for Italy directly from the trucks. We had an agreement with a driver and a stable boy at the race track. The horses were then trained as a companion horse. Everytime the trcuk came it was heartbreaking - I was always devestated about the ones that left.

I am forwarding out to horse contacts and agencies in my area. Can other C2 members do the same and get this one really going. Consider doing an A4 flyer at your local feed store , horse supply store etc advising people of the pettion and how to locate it.

Thanks Jocelyn. Noted with thanks to Brenda for the post. After I signed the petition the signature count was over 3500. I hope the ILPH organization receives more than 100,000 signatures. The sooner this blatant abuse of the horses in Europe comes to a halt the better off the rest of the horses will be. They do not deserve such abuse and this mistreatment should be stopped at once. Horses have done so much for mankind. The inhumane treatment given to these horses just proves at how they are rewarded for their hard work and loyalty. It is unacceptable to me the way some humans treat horses in Europe and elsewhere in the world. I unfortunately cannot say or do what I want to because I would probably get locked up. But that's only if they caught me. Just a little humor to help in times like this because it angers me so. I would love to give the same type of treatment to the people who abuse these precious and beautiful horses! In this case I believe an eye for an eye would be appropriate.
