I am a conservative, and I opposed Senator Franken every second - until he stood up for women serving our nation!

I did not vote for Senator McCain because of Iraq and defense contractors. I oppose no-bid contracting.

Keep up the good work. Conservatives want defense money spent well!

I cannot believe that (in this day and age) we have to approve something the likes of this! I was appalled when I heard this. I just want to know where the "alive" people are, by that I guess I mean thinking or feeling.

Oh yeah! and while we are at it. How about the insurance companies refusing to pay for damages sustained by a woman in an abusive relationship? Maybe stoneing of a woman is legal and I never knew it!!!

We need new senators. Readers, let's get on the campaign trail. Ask your friends if they will run for public office.

the reason the 30 Republicans - and now some Democrats - opposed the Franken ammendment is out of fear that employees could file charges and null the defense contract.

So, let us take matters into our own hands and get the word out we need more Frankens in office.
