I would sign if I could, but I'm not American... is there any options for cases like mine?

Sad and unbelievable that she was charged at all. Wasn't she defending herself from further abuse?

Tierney I'm sorry to say a number of these I cannot sign because they don't allow for addresses outside of the US. Sorry!!!

it's ok Sandra the fact is that you tryed. That is all we can do. Unfortunately many petitions are this way and it is frustrating to be sure!

Sorry Tierney, I'm in Canada so cannot sign. This is the first time I've seen this. The sentence is absolutely ridiculous! This was self-defence pure & simple.

I'm an American and everytime I try to sign one of these petitions from Change.org I can't sign them either. I have signed on to this group and tried doing it under a different email....no luck. This is very frustrating for me as well as I get so many of these and can do nothing further.
I wish this poor woman well....these cases of abused women should be re-examined.

To all those who cannot sign why not use an American address and zip!

anyone having trouble signing should really ask change.org why it's happening, probably sometimes the most simple things are hard to spot, like car keys in your hand ;)
signed, I hope this woman finally knows freedom, ty Tierney

To those who feel strongly enough to sign the petition and are disbarred by location, simply use an appropriate US address or whatever country that does not value your contribution and discriminates on geography if not race!
