The Preservation of Antibiotics for Medical Treatment Act (PAMTA), H.R. 1549/S. 619 would phase out, within two years of enactment, the common practice of continually feeding antibiotics important in human medicine to non-sick food animals.

Thank you, Tierney. This an extremely important issue that affects us all and yet very few are even aware of it. I have petitioned my legislators on this already. There are also some other organizations that address this situation with petitions as well.
