Great idea Gorilly! The only problem is they will start killing the Turkeys in droves like they did the poor piggy's and chickies. I say invite a Turkey to dinner and crack corn together by the fireside. Pumpkin pie too vegan of course LOL!

As a vegan, I have substituted TOFURKY for my "traditional" Thanksgiving meals Recently, however, I came across CELEBRATTION ROAST, which I highly recommend, as long as you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. I promise you...it will be a real hit! You can even baste it with a homemade vegan gravy if you want.
Peace to all and reverence for life.

Thanks T...

Already signed this one...but, frankly, I Think a TON of signatures won't make a difference for these Turkeys.

Sad...Yep Save the Turkeys, don't just pardon one pardon them all...frankly on Thanksgiving, I will love to eat lettuce, know that a bunch of people will NOT do that and we can't save all of these animals/creatures it is a hard fact.

Noted with saddenss and sorrow for a TON of creatures..

Thanks T.

we shouldn't be eating our friends for any reason. can't imagine my kittens served up for a traditional meal.
just eat to be healthy, meals don't have to be a fiest, it's sustenance, I am not looking for a "meat" flesh substitute. tho field roast does sound yummy Victoria, ty. nothing healthier than whole grain.
my husband is not vegan and loves all my vegan meals. practice does make perfect :)

tofurkey is the way to go,and they put it on sale around the Holidays and i hate Thankgiving with all the turkeys being killed.Tofurkey is very good choice and we cook it on a smoker, dry cooking is no good but steam cooking it is excellent.

my neighbors have turkens. i goof around with them all the time. i can't even imagine killing one of them. in fact, when one got sick, i nursed him back to health. he didn't care for the meds and keeps an eye on me at all times nowadays.
