The reasons against nuclear (fission) power plants are because they are non-renewable, dangerous, and create radioactive waste.

McCain once again proves how clueless and uncaring he truly is by endorsing 45 new nuclear power plants.

As a Rightist, I put my money where my mouth is. A believer in nukes, I am willing to move to the site of the former Vitro tailings in Salt Lake County.

I agree with liberals on one point - Republicans who favor nuclear power plants do not live next to a nuclear facility!

Why dont you just go live in the nuke plant daniel if they are so safe. This is insanity, I guess we need another Bhopal to really wake people up, if that it the only way people learn I don't know what else to do to get people to see the truth. McCain is a soulless pig.

I am sure that there are many Navajos that would trade places with you Daniel. Since they are stuck on that contaminated land, causing many to die from cancer and other diseases, while their children are born with many birth defects. And then what do we do with all the waste-seal it in drums and bury it in mother earth until the drums rupture and it polutes all the surrounding areas. Until we grow up enough to learn a safe disposal method for nuclear waste-we should not play with it. When there are so many safer and cheaper methods for producing energy why do the Repulicans insist on using the most dangerous-money that's why.
