GLAD TO SIGN Thanks and Thank you for bringing this to my attention - I was aware that is was a regressive gene, that white tigers were not a species and had no chance as cups in nature - but I never thought any further. Now all I can think of are the two (a pair) in Attika zoo - a gift by a bank to the zoo!!!

When are we going to learn that you can't manipulate or control nature without adverse results? Sooner or later it will man finally paying for our experiements as everything does eventually filter down. Respect all others on this earth.

This cruel practice of inbreeding must be stopped. If anyone knows where this petition can be forwarded so that no more tigers are forced to endure this, please let it be known. I'll be tracking this, Naresh. Once again,

Naresh, 1000 is not a target. The target should be government, or an organisation, etc, with other words to whom are you going to send the signatures?

Oh, by there way, that is what show people do all the time with show dogs. That is why show dogs that are bred to parents, sibling, mother etc have a week immune system, get sick often. Also out of ten puppies one might be the "perfect" show dog, the others may have bad teeth, crooked walk, or hip dysplasia or they are down right stupid. In either case only buy a purebred dog after you have read the pedigree carefully to see if inbreeding has occurred. It is better to buy from a breeder that "out crosses". that means he uses a stud dog that is NOT RELATED.
All "breeds" are bred that way - regardless the animal species. However, once the desired trades are achieved usually then inbreeding is avoided - at least by resposible breeders.

Here in India - I am going to check how many white tiger they have along with the back ground of the animal, from where they brought ?
