I don't know what is wrong with people. How many times do you think this kid is going to get beat up in school because of kids teasing him about not being as strong as superman? Does anyone think any more?

This is sad for the child. The parents are idiots. These parents are just looking for attention, just tells me they are not mature enough handle understanding anything outside their snow globe reality.

I think that 4 Real is as Acceptable as Alot of other names;I think they chose Superman just to thumb thier noses at the rediculous name registry Regulations, as they are still calling him 4Real and Still fighting for that name.!..The only problem I can see with 4Real If you try to capitolize it you get $Real; I am sure if the parents are computer litterate enough to Read The rude comments they must realize that.!...
I can't imagine some one that calls themself RABBIT picking on others for thier Name Choices There are plenty of Cats, Dogs and other predators on C2 That would love to Get at a Rabbit.! to say nothing of the Cooks.!..
My Ex wanted to name our first son Uriah; I objected and we negotiated.!..
However if both parents agree what buissness is it of the state; alot of Immigrants and Native Americans had thier names Changed by Petty Bigots that Wouldn't try to understand or Spell thier correct names, That Isn't right and Those that condemn some one else For Thier Choice of name saying thier kids are going to be picked on are promoting that kind of bigotry; that is like telling some one not to marry out of thier Race cause the child might be discriminated against.!..!... If that is the problem then the solution is to properly supervise kids at school and teach them tolerance and understanding instead of supporting thier bigoted, Bullying Behaviours By Telling People Thier Names are wrong.!
With 6+ Billion people in the world if we are all called John Smith How you going to tell us apart; OH Yeah thats Right Micro Transmitors or Bar Codes that identify you by Numbers.!...
So whats the problem with a number in the name it's all going to be Numbers Soon enough.!...!

If that's supposed to be some attempt at a put down you are going to have to do a lot better. I'm not in the least insulted by it and by the way there are a lot of girls named Bunny. Not really much difference.

When the kid comes home with a black eye I guess we will see. I have nothing against unusual names but I also know how cruel other kids can be. I think parents should use some common sense and think of that to before giving a child a name that is obviously going to provoke playground bullying. By the way I didn't say it was wrong I said they made a stupid choice which happens to be my opinion and I'm entitled to it.

You are right about one thing though. There are a lot of people that would love to get at a Rabbit. But wanting isn't getting and any cook that comes after me for more than a recipe share is going to find a Rabbit with claws fully capable of defending herself so they best be careful before they end up on the wrong side of the stew pot themselves.

As for any type of bar cades ~shrug~ what can I say. The nazis numbered the Jews and so on but a number doesn't change who you are. I would fight it and if I loose it wont change me because I know I'm not a number. I know just who I am. What makes me is what's inside me and no one can take that. Even death would not change it.

Well if thats the way You feel about you are part of the problem.! however you did say what is wrong with people ETC and did not use the words about stupid choice.
my point was that it seemed Ironic that when your choice of name makes you vulnerable to Teasing you would choose to attack these parents for thier choices and ignore the name choice(4Real) that they really wanted but make an issue of Superman being something that would get him bullied; again That is a Social problem that is directly related to bigotry and lack of proper ethical guidance on behalf of parents and schools and is a Attack repeated over and over by White Bigots and Assimilated TOMS against persons that try to honour thier ethnic heritage or just give thier child a name that means something to them you don't know what seeing thier Baby for the first time meant to them.!..!
I get so tired of C2 bigots attacking some stranger for a minor mistake of Choosing to Be alittle different Where is the tolerance and Respect for Diversity.!.?..!

Yes I'm sure you feel that anyone that doesn't agree with you is part of the problem. Lets just be clear that, that is only your opinion and you believing it doesn't make it truth.

Yes I said I don't know what is wrong with people because they don't think first, not that they have no right to name there kid even some stupid name. These same people will be crying their eyes out later, complaining to school boards and parents when that kid comes home with a black eye and they will not think for one second that their choice helped to create the problem. Yes bullying is a social problem and one that is very real. Which is my point in saying people should think first. You make choices knowing these things do exist rather than pretending the don't and going blindly on your merry way thinking nothing will happen. You take into consideration that part of the world is closed minded and hurtful so you take some steps to safeguard your defenseless child instead of giving him a name like superman. Whatever their actual choice so far to date the legal name is superman. Again a reality that you can't avoid no matter what their original choice was.

Well well, now look who is a small minded stereo typing bigot. Actually it isn't synonymous with any of that. One of my best friends adopted daughter's is named bunny. She was allowed to choose her own name and made the choice based on the fact that she likes rabbits. She happens to be very smart, talented and well respected. She graduated valedictorian of her class. So much for stupid. I also happen to have a 75 y/o aunt named Bunny, so it's not a new name at all. It has nothing to do with bimbo's or Barbie, the origins are actually Old English as I'm told as a pet form of Berenice which happens to be Macedonian derived from of the Greek name Pherenike. This name was common among the Ptolemy ruling family of Egypt. Way WAY before the invention of the Playboy adaptation. So maybe you should try getting your head out of your porn collection for a while.

Do you ave a right to think it's a stupid name? Yes, You do, Rabbit to for that matter. That is your opinion not a fact. Just like I'm entitled to my opinion that superman and 4Real are stupid names. I simply pointed out that you saying the name "is synonymous with BIMBO or BARBIE and is most often used by Shallow: Golddiggers, wanna be Playboy models" is, again, only your opinion since the name has been around much longer than Barbie or Playboy. A fact anyone can go look up if they choose to. I didn't put anything in your mouth I quoted you directly. Seems to me that you are the one being hostile and name calling while I'm calmly stating my point of view. Now that I have done that I'll waste no more time on you or reading whatever you post here.
