Can "we the people" really save our economy? Can we really force our government to face the inconvenient truth of the $53 trillion hole we're in? The answer is "YES" - there IS something each of us can do!

Make our leaders listen to the intelligent majority instead of the extinctionist, rich, white minority, which amounts to less than 1%.

I wonder if we should save the "economy" or start a new one where cooperation/sustainability replaces greed/competion. Should we keep "fixing" the same thing over and over again or just replace it with something NEW that works better for ALL?.Kind of like buying a new fridge when you finally realize it ain't working anymore. Didn't Clinton and Co. just balance the budget a few years ago and now its destroyed , AGAIN! I think ALOT of folks have the desire to lift the human experience above the behavior and thought patterns that force distortions generation after generation. I'll sign and note none the less to draw attention to it. Thx Laural, always a pleasure!

Thank you, Laurel! I have signed. I'm just wondering why Volcker and several others who are responsible for this mess endorsed this letter?

I think we need to do away with the Federal Reserve which is a private, corrupt system that was thrust on Americans. Most people think it is a government organization. It is not.

Serge you are so right. We must rethink "free trade" and bring it down to local economies based on sustainability. The major components of society like energy, communication, press should not be owned by power hungry corporations. We must rethink all of this. As soon as gas went up to $4 a gallon 30 some odd countries had food riots. If they had local farms and local currencies this would not have been so terrible. We must also rethink the "Federal" Reserve system. Making off of this money off of money has bankrupted us...and it's not just the US that is going bankrupt! We may be facing a world-wide depression!

Oops just noticed I hit the mouse on my keyboard and it creamed a sentence...

I meant to type--Making money off of money has bankrupted us...and it's not just the US that is going bankrupt! We may be facing a world-wide depression!

You are right Marion.
