Animal abuse is a very serious issue in our 21st century society. It is long been theorized that animal abuse can lead to other types of abuse, including child, elder, domestic, etc., etc. There is a strong correlation

Scotland had noted the corelation long ago and had officers who were dispatched to investigate animal abuse also check on the children in the vicinity.

Those that abuse animals will eventually go on to abuse people. A registry is an easy method for tracking those who are prone to acts of cruelty against animals and people.

Gladly signed and noted. Animal abuse is getting worse and the people are doing horrific things to these loving, loyal creatures and it needs to stop and harsher punishments to these abusers. It should never be okay to take a life.

One thing that needs to be done is to put an end to the two tear justice system if you abuse and animal you get the same jail time as if you abused a "HUMAN" because animals feel the same pain when abuse just like a HUMAN not more slaps on the hand. =^..^=

Noted and signed. Thanks, Sue. I so hope this happens. It would be a good start to let people know animal abuse is a serious crime. It would also help all the shelters and rescue organizations be able to know if there is an animal abuser in the home of the people wanting to adopt.

Thanks Sue. Noted and signed. Commented also that I did buy a home next door to animal and child abusers unknowingly. The county PTB'S and I have been in contact often. Don't know if records are kept about animal abusers though. Children are often in a loop of authority info. Animals may/or are not, depending on the local attitudes. I intensely want animals, children and female/male abusers to be registered and taken seriously.

Animal abusers normally turn to child abuse. STOP them before it is too late.
Society has enough problems. sort the problems one by one.

OMG, this is the most important petition I've ever signed on Care2 (or it ties with the best.) SIGNED WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM. Thank you, Sue.

Animal abusers are the scum of the earth. They are a drag on society, they are mentally ill and -- unlike most mentally ill people -- they are truly dangerous.
