Economists say "when the US economy sneezes, the rest of the world economies catches a cold".The US could have spared us from that tragy/comedy play about lifting the debt-ceiling.
Thanks for the post Michael.

The United States today - including both smoke and mirror political parties, the president and our agencies - is firmly in the control of the big energy/bankster/corporate elite globalists who see the entire planet and its resources as theirs to own and exploit. It is not an earth friendly group.

Mother Earth has sustained us since the dawn of man. Now she needs to be protected from the ignorance and greed of those who exploit her for personal gain. I agree with Olivia and Camila: we need to support and join the Rainbow People, or the injustices being inflicted upon our people and our planet will never end.

Thanks Michael. The republiCONS will NOT quit until they feel they have accomplished their goal, get rid of Obama and all he once stood for. They are evil and I wonder what God they pray to? They are not really Christians in the true sense of the word or world for that matter.

well when it comes to the oil sand, they haven't been called the tar sands in over 20 years. the fact is canadians aren't even prospering. the natives , yes there is native indians in the region are being poisoned, the wildlife is being poisoned and the canadian workers are being replaced by Filipino and east indians.. as the government continues to push more albertan and canadians into poverty. just who is to blame, these greedy foreign owned companies or people who support them? cause the useless alberta government continues to point fingers at everyone but themselves

"after... ...witnessing the stupidity of the US government, the rest of the world is struck dumbfounded by the immaturity of the "world's only superpower."
So stand up to this as you have more power then anyone, your outnumbering the few many times over! But it does not happen by observation only, God helps those that will help themselves! Are you waiting for other's to come rescue you from your own Evil government! Where is the once PROUD American disappeared too! I love your comment Hawkeye.

on different note, maybe if all this global pricing stopped, the world would be a much better place, what do i mean. well the price of milk and wheat are regulated, meaning that even though you produce the stuff , god forbid it's a decent price so they play games that in some place bread is selling for $4.00 and it was a $1 where you lived it's unfair that the other place has to pay that much so they increase the price, even though there is no need for it except greed. same with milk, you ever try and buy a brick of cheese, you need a bank loan.

Tony Issacs of the world that support third parties fantasies worry me, The disembowling of the two party system leaves the right very strong and teabaggers and republicans will win again and repeat the dbacle of 1990 when Gore lost! He was defeated by idiot Ralph Nader's Green party sucking votes from the left like some gigantic nightmare vampire. The American Greens are soaked in the blood of many from G.W. Bush and his clan's Wars. Vote demo stop the republicans fro being like the vultures they are picking clean the Left's only hope not the commies or the world socialist party, not the libertarians- wackadoos, not the greens only the only hope for the future of the World as we know it. the Democratic party!

Thank you Michael, everything I've read also points to the powerful oil companies & corporate america being behind all of this. So basically what this last vote did was give away all those bought & paid for by big oil & corporate america. Loved the video, but my STILL all time favorite is Earth Song:)

I just read the Native American Prophecy Michael.
We have many of those warriors now, we call them animal activists, environment activists.
Governments along side oil & other big corporations call them terroists.
I wonder now if people will wake up & see who the real terrorists are.
I'm a proud supporter of ALF & our sister group ELF

In the article it stated:

The winners of the debt ceiling deal will be the fossil fuel industry in the USA. The losers -- all of us -- as the republicans follow through an insane mission to make the USA, already the worlds biggest per capita emitter of carbon, even dirtier and less efficient and make runaway climate change an inevitability...

Albert Einstein was said, “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.”

Stupid is as stupid does and in Washington there is a lot of that. Stupidiy runs amuck.

Tony Isaacs said it perfectly, the ones sitting in Washington for the most part our bought out by the energy banksters corporate Elites......hence no wonder it was a good deal for those in Energy. But of coarse, how could we miss when our Government is being run for the We The People.

Arild good comment, can't give you a green star you got your quota from me this week.

People better rise up in massive numbers, I just gave a pep talk to a group of 40 people and I do many other things besides in this direction. If you wait for the Leaders to do it, you'll Die......they will continue to have your systems being loaded up with toxins and poisons to the cows come home, if those poor things even see the light of day anymore, in any case once you are being eaten away by cancer they will give you more poison to fight the poisons they already gave to you in your food and water. In any case they still make money off of you until you die, then another crop of humans are getting ready for the next round of slaughter.

Thanks Michael--good post, better comments.

It doesn't matter what the rest of the world thinks, what matters is what Americans think--AND DO.

The rest of the world might have looked on while the tragedy/comedy ran its course, but it was American policy makers who transformed private debt into public debt; American politicians who played chicken once too often; and share markets which believed Standard and Poors, despite its errors in the recent past.

Like that one too Patricia, I'd heard the American sneezes and everyone else catches a cold. In any case it is the Human Beings that are in control of making this work or making it a mess. People around the world are in dire straights due to human beings more than anything Mother Nature could offer. Also much of what is now happening with our weather was also caused by humans. What a sad and dreadful species the human is, yet they do not have to be this way, they can all achieve such great and beauty and love.....they choose to squander their gifts.

"The cuts to America's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will affect monitoring of water standards, air quality and carbon pollution". UNACCEPTABLE. We have worked so hard to get to where we are/WERE. I compare it to marmotS on my A-frame roof (when I lived in the mountains), struggling for what seems like hours~ to get to the top with food. MOST OF THEIR HARD WORD WAS UNSUCCESSFUL as I listened to the food falling back to square one. THEY NEVER QUIT.

MY feeling to the drastic take over of the TP idiots is we are done. The whole planet is going down hill. The planet is reacting with natural disasters and wants to rid itself of the the virus trying to destroy mother Earth. The planet will do well w/o us so will the animals. There is no way to fight these destructive money grugging people who deny Climate change and think only of themselves. I hope they are the first to go!!! Then maybe there is hope for the rest of us.
