BREAKING: PA Caves To Medicaid Expansion

US Politics & Gov't  (tags: healthcare, Medicaid, Pennsylvania, politics )

I cannot claim PA as my own, but am thrilled to hear this news! Go, Pennsylvania! These days, when I hear the word "cave", it gets me kinda excited. Funny how America has to "cave" to help the less fortunate these days.

I'm in PA. Our Governor only did this because he's running 25 points behind his Democratic challenger.

IT WILL NOT WORK. You are NEVER winning reelection. Are we clear, Governor?! Your days are numbered.

Great news for my state though. I wonder how many people died waiting for this to happen?!

Tom Wolf has two things going for him.

1) He's not our current idiot.

2) An awesome last name.

I was born and raised in PA 3/4 of a century ago. I always thought it was a better state than it has been exhibiting lately. This is a step in the right direction but it is so sad that it was done only for political purposes. But at least the people will benefit.

How awful that getting healthcare to people is "caving." Let's keep these guys caving in to the special interests of "voters."

Noted. Good for PA! On the other side of the country, we in AZ are hoping the GOP loses it's race for Gov. because although Republican Jan Brewer signed onto Medicaid (shock!), we're worried a new GOP Gov. will remove it.

The remaining red states holding the poor hostage need to consider Corbett's move. All he wants is to be re-elected, but he finally did the right thing after years of being hammered by his citizens. Please elect Wolf, he cares about humanity.

Rid the nation of all Republican governors. And don't forget Rick Snyder.

Let's not be foolish enough to think that Governor Corbett did this out of the kindness of his heart. Just remember, elections are coming up.
What 'ticks off' the Teapublicans the most is, once instituted, you will not be able to take it away from our Pennsylvania citizens.

I love it, I just love it, even though it's not enough.
Hopefully, single payer will be in our near future, and we have President Obama to thank for that. This will put him down in history, as a great President.

Perhaps Reinvested Daddy should take writing lessons " will have access to quality FREE, healthcare." I believe that should b free quality, not quality free - but maybe that is what was meant.
