Thanks Terry...Glad the Eagle and the driver will be alright..We have a pair that fly through the canyon where we have our compound! They are sooooo wonderful to watch..

I had an owl glance off the wind deflector on a truck I was driving on notoriuos M25 motorway in the UK some years ago I could see it was still flying in my rearview mirrors but the frustration of not being able to stop on the motorway to check it out was very intolerable especially for an animal lover such as myself. Nowadays the speed of traffic on the M25 is often so slow or the jams so long it's a wonder birds don't nest on you rig while you waiting! This was one lucky eagle as rarely does the bird win in such a collision. I do hope he makes good recovery. Of course the truck driver should commended for staying in control and averting any further disaster on the road. He will a have great story to tell his grandchildren about the day an eagle landed in his lap!
